Firstly, our apologies for no recent news for April, our office team is shortly to expand by a further two members of staff and also we have taken on an additional warehouse assistant along with more drivers to our ever expanding fleet.

Jeavons Eurotir would like to welcome Jasmin Willetts to the team who will be working in the General and Bonded warehousing division as the storage levels continue to increase. Her contact details have been added to the contact list.

Our brand new vehicles are now fully operational and have added additional support to our distribution services. We shall get some new photos of them up shortly when they are back at HQ! Keep a look out for them!

February saw a massive increase in volume of goods into our warehouse here in Birmingham. Our figures rose by a huge 1000 additional pallets, improving our storage and handling figures for this month.

Due to the increase in workload, we would like to welcome our two new members of staff Adam Hitchens and Sophie Lanni to the team! They will both be working with the UK division and their contact details have been added to the contacts page.

Our specialist refrigerated trailers are now fully functional and operating throughout Europe and the UK! Please see photos below.

2011 has been a very busy start for us here at Jeavons Eurotir! With many new contracts on board and the expansion of our team; Jeavons Eurotir is continuing to grow from strength to strength.

Jeavons Eurotir is excited to announce that we have secured another 3 year contract with one of our longest, most successful customers! ‘Building Systems Distribution Ltd’ is one of Jeavons top contracts who supply the building industry all over the UK & offshore islands. We welcome Barry Jiggins and Ian Guest and are looking forward to our future partnership.

In other news, Jeavons Eurotir has also secured a brand new recycling contract, serving major household names across the UK. This contract will be starting in March 2011, and estimate that this will be 150-200 pallets daily. Jeavons Eurotir has also been successful in increasing our weekly loads to and from Germany, again serving major car manufacturers. Jeavons Eurotir is also now operating a new ‘Temperature controlled’ chemical distribution service across the UK & Europe. Along with this, we have purchased 2 new Scania 6 x 2 44tonne Tractor Units which we be operating from the end of March 2011. Please contact Debbie Jeavons for more details.

Here at HQ, we have been making some changes to the way things currently run. From Mid-March 2011, we will be operating extended 24/5 opening hours. With this increase, we have employed more drivers, more office staff and warehouse staff to accommodate the increasing work. This will enable us to improve our distribution and commitment to client’s ever-changing needs. Our staff, current and new, over the past few months have undergone various training courses to accommodate these changes, such as ADR, I.T, Dangerous Goods, Reach & moffett mounty forklift and explosives.

We are also happy to announce that from the end of February, we will be introducing the facility to settle outstanding accounts by credit and debit card payments for a small fee. We feel this will benefit the majority of our clients by taking onboard their feedback over the past years. Please contact the Accounts Department for further details.

Jeavons Eurotir would also like to make their clients aware that we have authorization to operate ‘LCP’ clearances with a 15 minute response time. We are one of the only UK Logistics operators with such a short response time, which we know will benefit some of our clearance clients. ‘We are happy to announce that we have now been fully operational at our new premises in Seeley’s Park at Seeley’s Road for around 3 months. It has been hard few months for us, but we are proud to say that with a dedicated team and co-operative customers, we experienced no service disruptions throughout our 2 week move.

Also, please be aware that all Jeavons Eurotir staff have their own extensions, with the closure of the UK Traffic telephone number (0121 707 3121). The company phone number is incorporated now to 0121 765 4166.

On a very positive note amidst all the doom and gloom of a recession, the directors of Jeavons Eurotir are pleased to announce that contracts have been exchanged for our brand new 30,000sqft premises located at Seeleys Road in Birmingham.

The projection of the building should take no more than a maximum of 7 months and we anticipate a move around July.

Please see above image of the building, which includes two dock levellers and an overhead gantry. Everything will be loaded and unloaded from a flat, secured depot under cover. The premises will be flood-light, have ample parking for trucks and staff vehicles, house a canteen, quality toilet facilities including showers, and all the office staff will be sited together in one office. Entrance gates to the main site are fully manned, with security barriers, and further access to our own premises are behind secured, electronic sliding gates. The area is also covered by CCTV.
